Invisible Fence Training

If you've decided to look into the invisible fencing system it's important that you also understand the invisible fence training. It's actually quite simple to train a dog to stay inside the invisible fence; in fact, you're probably going to find easier to train your dog Van in was to install the fence in the first place. The whole idea with an invisible fencing system is to contain your dog in safe and convenient area and yet allow them to get the exercise they need.

When it comes to your training methods for the invisible fencing system it's best to follow the instructions. You'll first be laying your invisible fence and burying it beneath the ground so that it will stay put. Once you have the containment area set up, you will then be putting flags up in order to help your dog visually know when they're getting close to the containment system. These flags are just as important as the collar on your dog. Dogs understand things very quickly, but the more you can help them learn, the better off they're going to be.

Once your dog has the basic idea of how these small flags indicate that something is going to happen, you can start removing the flags and they'll understand the beep coming from the collar just as well. If you don't insert the flags in the first place, your dog may run off after something on the other side of the fence, and never even pay attention to the noise or know where it came from. In other words, keep those fencing flags up until your dog actually sees the fencing flags as they're running and playing.

The fencing flags can be completely removed once your dog recognizes the boundary consistently for a month or more. Again, make sure you follow the instructions that come with your invisible fencing kit, after all, they're the experts. Every dog is different, make sure that you read the instructions, and then adjust the fencing methods to your own dog's personality.

The invisible fencing training method is actually really simple, and once it's set up, it actually trains your dog without any interference from you. All you'll need is a collar, and the invisible fencing kit. Make sure that the batteries in your invisible fencing collar are on and working at all times when your dog is outside. If you let your dog out without the collar, it can be a disaster as they'll soon understand that the collar is the actual training method and not the fence line at all.

When it comes to installing your invisible fencing kit, you're going to find that it's actually easier to train your dog than it is to install the system. Installing your invisible fencing is really simple; you'll lay the wires down, bury them, and then set up the controller. That's it. How much simpler can it be, put the caller and your dog, and let the training system do the rest.
